We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery section into a varied and exciting job within oral and maxillofacial surgery and hospital dentistry.

The Regional Operations Area for Head and Neck and Plastic Surgery, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery section, investigates and treats patients across the entire spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery and hospital dentistry, including anesthesia operations and treatment of head and neck oncology patients. The clinic has an oral and maxillofacial surgery on-call service. Your employment will be at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Oral Medicine section.

We are currently a regional clinic with Hospital Dentistry at USÖ, Lindesberg, and Karlskoga hospitals, which means you may work at all units. We work in teams with oral and maxillofacial surgeons, hospital dentists, and dental hygienists in the section. Dental Nurse, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery section, VO Head and Neck and Plastic SurgeryJob Responsibilities

As a dental nurse, your main task is to assist dentists and oral and maxillofacial surgeons as well as hospital dentists in outpatient and surgical settings. You will also work with X-ray imaging and patient administration. Depending on the needs of the organization, your skills, and interests, you will also be offered individual assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is interested in developing within the dental nursing profession. You will be offered a varied job with stimulating tasks. You will receive a good introduction with guidance from experienced colleagues, and internal training will occur gradually at the clinic.

A dental nursing education is required. Experience in general or specialist dentistry/oral and maxillofacial surgery is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration and initiative skills. A strong interest in our patient groups is essential. Other valued qualities include flexibility, organizational skills, and a service-oriented attitude. We place great importance on personal qualities.
